i have just over three weeks before i go off to university. therefore i wont be posting my work on here as much, or if i do it'll mostly be work from my course rather than what i'm doing in my spare time. it'll also mean i wont be available for as much freelance work as i have been this summer but would still be available for one-off sessions and small shoots instead of weddings which take up a lot of time i could be using to get my coursework finished.

that's about it really. but if anybody wants to work with me send me an email via blogger, my flickr or my portfolio etc and i'll get back to you :) x

the photos i took for Hannah's birthday are finished! they will be up on saturday as she hasn't seen them yet and it's going to be surprise for her and everyone else at her party :)

i've also been decided to take up an opportunity to do the photography at a christening in august. i will have to take pictures of the service (fair enough, not too difficult), wedding style family shots (easy) and photos of the after party, where there will be lots of children (oh no lol). it will be a good learning experience so i am looking forward to it, but worried at the same time in case i can't get any nice photos. x

i finished two whole rolls of film yesterday! the first when i went for a walk with my mum in the local wood and the second was when i was at a barbecue and went for another walk with all my friends to a nearby field. it was so much fun and can't wait to see the prints later on today when i get them developed!

i have also made a start on the second lot of wedding photos i did, with exams and such it's been pretty hectic but they have begun :) i have also been asked to do a christaning in august but don't know whether i would be ok to do that date as of yet.

furthermore it's 4 days until the photoshoot i have planned with my friend hannah for her birthday (which i am so excited for!) and have organised a huge photoshoot with all my friends... that is going to be busy and more than likely stressful, but hopefully it should be good fun and give us something to remember each other by when we all go our seperate ways for uni. x

future projects

for one of my best friend's birthdays in july i have decided to do her a photoshoot. i know i won't have much money around that time due to my holiday and other people's birthdays (not that i'm favouring them over her by buying presents for them, this is more unique) so instead i thought i would do something i'm relatively good at to make her something special and give her an experience she won't forget.
expect the photos of those to come up sometime either this month or next... :)

also planning on taking a hell of a lot of photos during the summer holidays. i'm taking numerous digital and film cameras with me when i go down south for two weeks and hope to do plenty of shoots with friends, in particularly fatowls and emma curley my model.

i messed up getting my roll out of the camera and as a result all the pictures went pink as you can see below. however i scanned them in and played about with them on Photoshop. they aren't brilliant... but i'm quite proud of them :) x
